Technology at the service of creativity
Interartes has invested in high-quality infrastructure and equipment, ensuring a learning experience close to professional reality.
The school's studio is equipped with multitrack systems, condenser and dynamic microphones, professional audio interfaces, studio monitors, and industry-standard software (Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Reaper).
The course values technology as a creative tool, encouraging the exploration of new languages and the crossing of musical genres—from jazz to pop, from classical music to experimental electronic music.
Student profile
The Audio and Music Production Course is aimed at:
Musicians and composers who wish to learn how to produce and record their own works;
Technicians and enthusiasts who want to master the language of sound and studio operation;
Instrument and vocal students seeking to understand sound from a new perspective;
Independent creators who want to develop solid skills for today's music market.
No prior experience in audio is required—the course adapts to each participant's level, from initiation to professional consolidation.
Methodology and guidance
Teaching is personalised and practice-oriented.
Each student works with individual objectives defined jointly with the teacher and participates in collective projects that simulate real studio contexts.
Students are encouraged to build a portfolio of original productions, which can serve as a basis for applications, public presentations, or entry into the professional market.
Guidance is continuous and multidisciplinary, involving audio teachers, instrumentalists, and guest producers.
Expected outcomes
By the end of the course, the student will be able to:
Record, edit, mix, and master complete musical productions;
Operate studio software and hardware autonomously;
Understand the technical and aesthetic principles of sound;
Produce demos, soundtracks, and original projects with quality;
Apply good workflow, organisation, and session management practices;
Work collaboratively in studio and stage environments.
A course that reflects the essence of Interartes
The Audio and Music Production Course represents the balance between artistic vision and technical rigour that characterises Interartes.
Under the coordination of Miguel Marques, responsible for implementing the technical and operational criteria of the school's technological area, the course reflects the philosophy that technology should serve music—and not the other way around.
With the guidance of an experienced team and reference-level infrastructure, students discover not only how to work with sound, but also how to listen and create in a conscious, modern, and inspired way.
